Question type: Maintenance & Repair
So get in my car tonight and I have no dashboard lights or lights on gear shift panel. I didn't dim them by accident either. Creepy driving not knowing how fast I'm going. Any suggestions on how to fix this easily? (F-55)

First check your fuse box for blown fuse to instrument panel. Next check light switch to comfirm all wires going to it are still plugged in. If that fails to correct situation, pull light switch from dash and replace with new.
I have no dash lights unless I push in the headlight vs. running lights switch. No fuses are blown. AND another driver pulled up next to me to tell me I had no tail lights. I put on the fog lights for something/anything. What gives??

I have exactlly the same problem on my 1987 Volvo 245 DL. When I turn on the headlights, the dashboard lights go out, as well there's NO parking, tail and licence plate lights at all ??? When I turn the light switch one click to the left, the dashboard, parking, tail and licence plate lights come all back on. Tried the fuses, but NO help. Did ANYONE allready found a "solution" to this problem ? I would apreciate some and any HELP on this mater. Thanks !
