Possibly an ECU flash? A flash is a reprogramming or updating of the engine or powertrain computer (ECU). Do some reading at the link.....https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Engine_control_unit

Only thing I can think of is an ECU flash. Never heard of "EGU."
