would a cup of brake fluid hurt the transmission?

do i need to change the transmission fluid? I put about a cup of brake fluid in by mistake.

Brake fluid will swell and destroy all the rubber inside your transmission. These rubber components fit certain parts exactly allowing the correct flow to cause the various functions of the transmission. Swelling and deterioration of these will cause improper function of the transmission. I would get the transmission fluid changed out asap.
