I have a 2001 Volvo V70 XC. It has almost 200,000 miles on it. Recently I have been having trouble starting it in the afternoon after work. It starts fine in the morning, runs fine on the way to work. But after work, 8 hour day, it doesnt want to start. It is turning over, tries to start, and I have to pump the gas. It takes me about 10 minutes of coaxing it like this to finally get it started.

I was thinking along the same lines. I have replaced the ignition coils. With no improvement. I will replace the fuel injectors tomorrow. Hopefully that will do something.
