Pairing z4 with bluetooth

20

Asked by Jody Jun 24, 2015 at 12:21 AM about the 2006 BMW Z4 3.0si Roadster RWD

Question type: General

It paired at one point but then they stopped communicating, after someone pushed the
sos button.  I removed the device from me phone to start over and now it won't even
recognize the bmw.  The screen on the radio just has dashes.  Satellite radio and regular
radio work fine just can't pair with phone.  Help!

You should try to see if another phone would recognize the bluetooth connection of the car, if not what I would maybe be disconnecting the battery and turning the key so it drains all remaining power in the components and then reconnecting it and attempting the bluetooth pairing process again, this should reset the stereo. hope this helps solve your problem, doesn't hurt to try it out worked with a friends car with a similar issue.
