I have a bmw z4 3.0 si roaster, when i put it in m/s do i have to select the sport button aswell?

I utilize the Sport Button when I want to transform my Z4 roadster into a fun, quick responsive, high-spirited sports car. (expect your fuel economy to drop from 27+ to around 18 mpg)
