I replaced vacums lines now my truck smokes and
dies

I was going to ask the same question, did you replace one at a time to ensure you hooked the right components together?

Thinking outside the box here: maybe you have increased vacuum in some parts of the vehicle and now...say the valve cover grommets are leaking oil into the cylinders causing the smoke?
