Asked by GuruXT3J7 Oct 14, 2018 at 03:31 PM about the 2002 Buick Park Avenue FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

The spring around the shock is rubbing and squeaking is there a way to fix it
or do I need new shocks?

Sounds like the bushings or mounts are dried out. If it's been a while since you did anything back there I would swap them out. Have a look (or someone of your choice) inspect the springs as well for rust. Good Luck!
