clock light stays on

i have a 2003 buick regal LS. after i turn off the car and lock the doors, clock light on
radio display stays on. i couldn't turn it off. what should i do?

Can you still use the radio? If it's simply the display and before I would get involved in spending time/money for something that is probably an internal issue inside a 12 year old radio. Be aware that an LCD may out last the car plus it draws less current then a watch. Leave it be .... if there are other problems ...then fix it, but you will no doubt have to replace the radio

the radio works without any problem. the problem is the clock light. i tried to reduce the brightness of it before turning off the car but once i stopped the engine and removed the key, it reverted back the bright light.
