2002 Buick Regal GS Supercharged

Asked by SleepySleeperson Oct 16, 2016 at 03:27 PM about the 2002 Buick Regal GS Sedan FWD

Question type: Car Customization

I've always been impressed with the 2002 Regal
GS, but lately I've been thinking of the possibilitys
of a 1/4 mile in less than 13. That's where I'm
hoping someone can help me out, I want this "old
man sedan" to be the ultimate sleeper, any
suggestions on what parts I should swap/ tune up
for optimal performance? thanks!

There is a company that did a lot of engine work on Pontiacs with that engine and many of their parts will work on the GS. The name slips me but it is something like SLP....google the Grand Prix. One of the first things is to take that "U" bend out of the exhaust...they make the part or any exhaust shop can do that. Changing the blower pulley is another way to get extra boost.

go to WWW.zzperformance.com they have all the goodies you need these cars can be fairly fast some in the low 12's

Strip as much weight out of the car as you can. Every ten pounds you take out is like adding 1hp.

ZZPerformance and Intense-Racing.com both are great. I have 2 in the 12's and 1 in the 13's.

txbarney SLP did a limited run on the GS and made them GSX's. You probably mean ZZP? And remember the 3800 is a Buick motor.

Check out Intense-Racing and ZZP performance. Also check out regalgs.org and turbobuick.com in the supercharged section.
