im a fan of cold air intake, i had a 2002 with a cold air and it was nice
i like cold air better. have it on my cavalier and it works equally enof 2 ram air. besides its cheaper and easier 2 install. all thgh it wood be cool 4 ram air on a cavalier. other thng is, ram air wood prob need some custom fabrication 2fit in.
truthfully it really doesn't matter with the ld9 are any cav for that matter. at J-body.org there was a thread a few years back were they compared cold air, ram air and a short ram and there was a minimal difference betweenall of them on a N/A motor, the short ram actually did slightly better most if the time. now with boost(turbo , supercharger, etc) you night wanna start thinking about this, I know with my supercharger I would most likely gain some power with some colder air but oh well im leaving the air filter right on the throttle body
Im actually planning on getting a ram air hood from RK sport for around $550
thats a popular hood but ( Im assume the car is stock) I would drop it and do wheels before a hood, just my 2 cents i have eibach sportline springs on dspec struts and it looks awesome
I would drop it but I can only find a eibach system sway bars and coil overs for $1000 plus I don't have $1000 plus. and it is stock except for the Weapon R secret weapon ram air intake I've ordered.
I also have projector halo headlights fully functional with the black background. The blue lights on the headlights look awsome with the original paint. sum kind of lighter blue. kinda looks like a candy when the sun shining on it.
forgot. I also have a 1300 watt pioneer sound system I orginally had in my 96 grand am gt. Two 12 in subs, four 6x9 4-way speakers.
