my 1997 chevy cavalier will not keep coolant in it..... i put it in and with in a few mins it is gone.... what would it be???

check radiator for leaks it can leak fluid the fluid sometimes don't make it to the ground

do you know about how much it would cost to fix it

Gone in a few minutes - got to be a leak . Head gasket would be a lot of SMOKE out the tailpipe for it to be gone that fast. Check the oil stick to see if the oil is discolored like coffee milkshake. It could be going into the crankcase via head gasket but still sounds like a bad leak like a radiator - on these they are plastic. Good Luck

when i looked to see where it was coming from it looked like it was coming from a bolt at the back of motor
