2007 Dodge Caliber Overheated Now Low Intake Pressure

Asked by UdderlyAwesomeTV Jun 18, 2020 at 09:12 PM about the 2007 Dodge Caliber SXT FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

2007 Dodge Caliber overheated one day and when I pulled over I had
coolant all over the top of my engine. Later started to feel really sluggish and
wouldn't rev past 2600 rpm. I have a check engine light for a bad MAP
sensor. I took the sensor out and cleaned it with electrics parts cleaner and
still have the same issue. Had someone look at it and they it is a vacuum. So
I used started fluid on my intake and hoses and there was no increase in rev.
I do not know what to do... any advice/ resources help.
Thank you!

Thank you for your reply! I will definitely try this and see if it helps. Is been like 2 weeks and I've driven it occasional (since its my only car) with the same issue.
