2007 audi q7 sline 3ltr

Asked by Amy82r71 Oct 28, 2019 at 07:32 PM about the 2007 Audi Q7 3.6 quattro AWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Hi everyone.

I'm new, please be kind.

So 17 weeks ago a purchased an audi q7 sline 3L
2007 reg. 16 weeks ago it died and wouldn't turn
over. It had 4 mechanics scratching their heads at
what the fault could be, fast forward and we finally
changed the ecu unit in the engine. The car now
runs, however... It gets to 3k revs and goes into
limp mode and gives a code of p1063 for the fuel
pressure. My mechanic is at a lost and I don't have
thousands to throw trying to play guess which part
has broken today.

I'm gutted, stressed and without a car. Has anyone
had this fault or known of this fault and what it
could possibly be? So far I know the mechanic has
checked the injectors as that was the initial fault
code before the ecu was changed.

Love, a distraught female audi owner.

I don't know what you paid for it or how much you have spent but the cheapest way out may be to cut your losses and dump it.
