Misfire codes

Asked by Miguel Dec 29, 2018 at 01:25 PM about the 2007 Audi A4 2.0T Sedan FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2007 Audi A4 2.0T with an FSI
engine. Codes P0300, P0302 and P0304 pop
up indicating a misfire on cylinders 2 and 4. I
replaced all spark plugs and all ignition coils
and have even moved ignition coils around
but the problem does not follow the coils.
After 2 days exactly as soon as the car is
turned on the engine light comes on
indicating the misfire is back.

im having a very similar issue with my 2003 beetle. it is only on cylinder 3. I have replaced my coils, spark plugs, and even my valve cover gasket. i replaced the gasket because there was an excessive amount of oil on the spark plugs. I am still having a cylinder 3 misfire issue and the car is running very rich.
