Transmission suddenly started
throwing codes. Went into limp mode,
slipping, eratic shifting etc. Po152,
p2723, p0756. Changed very dirty fluid
and worked perfectly for about 200
miles with no issues. Suddenly the
same thing happened and it started
slipping and codes etc. Transmission
fluid was very black, burnt. Changed it,
worked perfect again for a while then
same thing again. Very burnt. Each
time I did a drain and fill, not a flush. I
can't understand what the actual
problem is since changing fluid
temporarily "fixes" the problem
completely for a while. And the burning
is a sign of what? Any ideas? Is the
tranny gone?

Ok thank you, I am thinking that too. However, I would really like to understand why. Any ideas? It's just strange to me that replaced fluid makes it run and shifts completely normal again. Trying to understand what may be the actual reason.
