lights and dash lights not working

changed battery and disturbed some wiring -some corrosion evidence -lights not working

is it only the lights not working ? check the fuses first then work down to the wires that you say are corroded, either replace or clean the wires and it should help

Make sure you installed all the battery cables/wires back on the battery. Some vehicles have multiple positive or negative connections. Specially if someone has replaced the cable ends at any time in the past.

the fuses are most commanly under the dash, inside the door on the side of the dash, or under the hood. most commanly in older cars you will find fuses under the hood and under the dash
