At long traveling distances gas
consumes pretty fast

At a full. Tank , traving about 200 miles . the gas gauge is at 1/4 tank. Is this common?

What octane gas do you use ? If 87 try using the 89 or better yet 93 octane some vehicles have better gas mileage with the higher octane gas.
