My Mercedes won't start sometimes,turn
the key get one click then nothing. 5
minutes later it might start.

Either the battery that you could know or the starter or even the ignition

You battery may be week, or the ignition switch has seen better days. I'd first check and make sure ALL the cable connections are tight, clean and there are no frayed parts on the cables. It could be the starter is bad and needs repair or replacement.
