2 similar cars, same model, mileage, extras. Mine as a private seller is listed as a fair deal, dealer is $1,500 above my price and that is listed as a good deal. Why??

Because dealer prices are a judged by different criteria. Private sales are always less and you don't have a giant showroom, secretaries, repair shop, lounge lizard salesmen, managers, etc. to pay for.

This is one reason I prefer to buy from individuals rather than dealers.
