2007 Mercedes SL 550 turns on but won't start

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Lights come on, windows work, but won't turn over. Starter battery is fully charged as I removed it and took it to check.  Car has both the starter battery under the hood and the supply battery in the trunk. Haven't been brave enough to try to jump or remove the supply battery.  Any suggestions other than tow to Mercedes dealer.

I have heard horror stories about jumping the battery in the trunk. I have a jump starter/charger as the starter battery is 100%. To clarify, are you saying to jump start the rear battery? I have attempted the front one (starter battery) previously.
