I have a 2007 SLK 280, I ran fine, took it into to get inspected, While driving home it went into limp mode. Had the code U101 removed (no help). Still in limp mode. Now I put the code reader on and it says los communication with TCM. Why would this happen after the inspection and how do I reset everything?

I believe TCM is Transmission Control Module. What kind of inspection was it? State inspection? Did they offer any repairs? Resetting the computer is as simple as disconnecting the battery for about 10 mins.
