Starter

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Got home last night, was watching tv and heard a noise, it was coming from my 1997 Chevy Tahoe LT 5.7L engine, It was turning over with the ignition off. Put a new starter on it a few days ago. Had to disconnect the battery to stop it. Terminals got real hot. Looked at it this morning, could not see any wires touching. Could it be the starter went bad ?

1 Answer

Pulled new starter that was put on. On the 9th of this month, every thing passed all the test. Starter not the problem, Auto zone wants $158.99 before taxes and core charge. Found it online at carparts.com for $39.91 including shipping snd handling.
