Is coolant at proper level? Low coolant can cause this to happen due to an air pocket in the cooling system. Did you properly bleed all the air out of system when you replaced the radiator?

Oh ok. Sometimes after driving a vehicle that has had a radiator replaced the fluid level will drop and need topping off again. Just a thought.

Is ac or defrost on? If so the fans should be on. If one of them is on turn it off and see if fans stop.
