2007 Hyundai Santa Fe Corrison issue/recall

Asked by LAWardlaw Apr 05, 2019 at 10:26 AM about the 2007 Hyundai Santa Fe 2.7L GLS AWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I brought car in for a recall and my engine cradle was rusted and was broken and pushing out the right side of my whole tire. My friend looked at the bottom of my care and told me that I cannot drive this car and my engine could just fall out from my car. Will Hyundai fix this part of my car at their expense? The recall said that they were going to just spray rust proof on the under body of the car. I thought that they have to fix the areas that was rusted out before they can spray at no cost to me?

just took my 2007 santa fe in for this recall and my subframe also had a hole in it because of corrosion. Hyundai said they would cover the cost of replacing the subframe because it was due to the recall
