2007 Toyota Sienna Wheel Bearing

My driver's side rear wheel bearing is going out with only 39,000 miles is this a common issue?  Is there a recall on it, it seems very early for the bearing to be going out and the mechanic wants $550 to replace.  Any insight would be appreciated!

We have a 2007 Sienna van and have replaced 3 wheel bearings in the past year. Seems a little strange to us and we have 54000 miles on it. Have not heard of a recall, but I am thinking there should be.

We also have a 2007 Sienna van that has bearings issue. We have 70K miles on the car. I hear a lot of complains about the bearings. What's Toyota have to say about this?? I should have bought a Honda.
