after running for an hour, and I shut down the car...when I try and start it back up it won't start. After 15 or 20 minutes it starts with no problem, what is causing this?

Check the fuel filter, it could be getting clogged restricting flow.

does it turn over? if not the starters getting hot and youll have to replace it. are the fuel lines getting hot? do ur injectors make noise?
could be engine flooding (usually would only happen on non-piston rotary engines) but in theory it is still i possibility i would imagine.
faulty crank sensor, end of story
