Will not hold pressure when pump off

Asked by GuruV129F Apr 17, 2019 at 05:51 PM about the 1996 Chevrolet Blazer LT 4-Door 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Turn key on 62 to 63 pressure. Turn key off on
pressure . 1996 Blazer w has been getting worse
as it has no pressure after key off. I would run and
at times just cut out mostly when let off on gas.

I will check the injectors now that I have it apart . Is there a way to test the regulator as it doesn't hold any vaccume on the inward nipple , you can hear air going through the weep hole . I don't know if it's a valid test . Also if check valve in fuel pump was bad could it cause a pressure no hold scenario? Just asking .
