Could be the speed sensor.
If it is the speed sensor there are two of them, one by the throttle and another under the engine by the power steering pump

What speed sensors are you refering to up by the throttle and one behind the power steering pump? What speed are they sensing in those areas? Most speed sensors will be found on the wheel spindlw assy, either built in to the wheel bearing or externally mounted, triggered by an exciter ring on the CV shaft, Ford (FWD)used to have one back on the transaxle, (good awful hard to change),,, other cars will have 4, one at each spindle assy,,, older trucks had one on the rear diff. Anyway most cars, since OBD will react in some other way to a speed sensor being at fault,, Cruise light blinking, more than likely it'll affect the ABS as well and cause that light to blink. The blinking light in some cases when set in diag mode will blink a code. Point being never really seen a speed sensor up by the throttle, A throttle position sensor yes, also used in some CC system to tell the computer the position of the trottle at any given time. Anyhow ,,Good Luck with that...
