replaced harmonic balancer now motor turns over but won't start

Sounds like the crank position sensor has been damaged during the replacement.

I agree, those are troublesome to begin with and since you disturbed it there's a very good chance it's ruined. Without the sensor working the computer doesn't know the engine is cranking. So the injectors won't spray and the spark plugs won't spark. Jim
