1995 Buick Riveria Blower motor will not shut off when key is off.

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

When I turn off the engine the blower motor continues to run until the battery dies.  I disconnected the battery hoping that it would reset the computer if that was the case, no such luck.  I think it is the blower relay but sure where it is located.  Is it one of the relays located under the back seat and how do you check to find out if the relay is bad?

Relays can be checked to determine if they are good. But if you are not familiar with this just take the relay to your local parts store fora replacement the plug it in and see if your problem disappears. Relays are cheap.

Where are the blower motor relays located? I checked under the back seat and none of the relays there are labeled as blower motor. Any help would be appreciated.

Swapping out relays is the easiest way to check them out.
