Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I own a 95 Riviera and the brake lights do not activate when the brake pedal is applied. However the light in the rear windshield does come on. I have checked the fuse under the rear seat and its good.Help>>>>

If the third brake light, the one you stated was in the back windshield, is on the brake light swithch should be ok. Check the other two brakes light sockets for power when you apply the brake. Unless you are really fast you'll need a second person. If ther is power replace the bulbs. If there is no power trace the wiring to find the open in the circuit. A factory wiring diagram will be helpful.
