Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Here's the problem there was a squeaking
noise under the hood, I was told it was the
belt to put degreaser on it then go to the car
wash & spray the belt with water. After that
the car was running out of gas. So the gas
station was close went & got gas then
driving off the car started like it didn't want
to go. Got home the engine shaking, rough
start & jerking. Please tell me this can be
fixed by draining something or replacing
something small spark plugs or Please help
this is a great running car.

I have been told to never wet the opti spark because it can get moisture or water itself inside the opti spark and cause it to miss or jus completely stop running. Sounds like when u were spraying the belt u got water into the opti spark causing it to stall. My car did the same replaced fuel pump, plugs, wires, fuel filter, coil pack, and still wouldnt start till I finally changed the optispark. My advice if u do change opti spark go with a good quality one not the cheapest u can find.
