First thing I would do is get a real oil pressure gauge and make sure you have oil pressure. Check your oil and if it is more than 1 qt low this could possibly cause this to happen. Could be a clogged/defective filter (I have had this happen to me with fram filters) If this all checks out then check the connection at the oil sending unit.

NOPE, that is not the first thing to do. Just get a new oil pressure switch. The Original design sucked- the replacements are not that good either, but they will work quite awhile before they go. They are reasonably priced so get an OEM. There are youtube videos on how to change them. It is pretty easy. Jack up the driver front wheel. Take the appropriate wrench and a headlamp. Also clean the surfaces with brake cleaner. The connector is a little trick, but doable if you take your time- 15 minutes tops.
