Question type: General
While in idle and within minutes my engine
overheats.ac works fine as well as heater, the
reserve is full of coolant and both fans work.I got
the codes 26,27,44,55 when I dude the diagnostic
through the Hvac controls.

Codes 26 and 27 are quad driver error codes. Code 55 is an ECM failure code. When you replace the ECM transfer the PROM from the old ECM to the new one. Hope that helps! Jim
Oh and code 44 is an overly lean air to fuel mixture. Jim

Thanks,I’m really trying to learn to all this on my own through YouTube so I will be looking that helpful info up to see can I do it or just are it to a shop
You're welcome. Glad to help! You might consider getting a factory shop manual for your Roadmaster. It will have a wealth of information about service and repair. Try Ebay for a good used copy or Faxon Auto Literature in Riverside CA for a reprint. They have a website. Jim
