I don't understand the (it just drips ) is a fuel line leaking ? What's the fuel pressure ? Is the fuel pump working ? Will it run on starting fluid ?

Sounds like fuel pressure (pump) is your issue. The pressure should be 40-60 PSI. 40 is normal and car should run fine. Could be leaking internally(in the tank). Or the pump is just done.

This may be a security issue, which is a very common problem on GM vehicles. The security system is known to fail. Basically when you insert your key, the system checks for certain OHMS resistance. If the system cannot get the correct signal from the key, it assumes the key is incorrect and goes into SECURITY lockout mode. (prevents hotwiring) This has been happening with GM's for a very long time. There are ways to bypass this now. Read through this page for info, solutions as well. http://www.diy-gm-security.com/

I know about the security issue you talk about. But the car will crank and not fire up and run at all. Plus the "pass key" light will go on in the dash. I still believe they have a fuel problem. Because the car will start run for a little bit then stall. (JMO)
Try running hot wire to the single red wire that has , stripebelieve it is white from the positive side of battery it by passes all fuel issue
