why my atf mix with radiator water

my Chevy Camaro 1996 3.4 is mixing radiator water and automatic Transmission fluid ATF. WhY?

I bet your radiator is partitioned, and part of it is used for the tranny fluid cooler and the rest of it is used for the engine coolant. When the partition inside the radiator rusts through the two fluids mix. You better fix this quickly or your transmission will go out!!!
