how do i get in the trunk with a dead battery

There is key access behind the number plate. If that doesn't work try looking under the left rear fender under the boot. You should see a positive cable there for jumpstarting the car.

My 2003 has a key hole above the rear license plate under the lip on the trunk, the key goes in skyward.
