Sunfire you'll need to pull all the Pontiac trim an add caveiler trim 3m two faced tape goof off will desolve the glue w/o paint damage
If you can't afford to fix the door you have, what makes you think you can afford a whole other door which is probably going to have the same internal problems as the door you already have? It sounds like you don't know how to or don't want to fix the door you have. So, buy a repair manual with the new latch assembly and lock actuator so you can fix it yourself! Jim

I didn't ask for a smart ass remark I just needed to know where I could possibly find a door for my car. Unless you want to give me $800 to fix the door latch and door lock actuator? No I didn't think so Jim
I'm sorry if you don't want to hear the truth but whomever quoted you $800 is way out of line! The latch assembly is $36.79 and the door lock actuator is $33.79, brand new from Rockauto.com, both in stock. They actually have the lock actuator as cheap as $6.94. A shop can do the repairs in about 2 hours. So you do the math. Here's another unfortunate reality some shops dismiss older models as junk and don't want to be bothered with them! A few years ago my Sister was quoted $400 to fix the driver's side window on her 93 Cavalier Z24. She was also told the part was unavailable, and blah blah blah. Guess what, I fixed it for her for $6.00. Not a typo, six dollars! The plastic wheel for the window regulator had fallen apart. It took me a little over an hour! So a shop could have done it for her in less time, I'm sure. They just didn't want to be bothered with it because the car was old! So, get the parts and shop around for a reasonable price quote or do it yourself. Don't waste your time and money on a whole other door that, unless the door is damaged, which it doesn't appear to be by your picture, you don't need. Don't forget to factor in the cost to repaint the replacement door to match the rest of the car. Good luck to you. Hope that helps you understand where I was coming from! Jim
