What's the cause of gas going into the oil on 96 Chevy cavalier? And would that make the car constantly stall out before and when put it into gear and what major affects can it have on the motor???

Gas going into the oil means bad piston rings. Too much blow by, or bad pistons. You might have a crack in the engine block as well. As for the stalling problem I am clueless. Try seafoaming your engine... that means buy a can of Seafoam and follow the instructions. You might have excessive carbon build up, and it wouldn't kill it to add some Marvelous Mystery Oil into your oil. Hopefully that will help a lot.
