If you are getting multiple warnings on instrument cluster on dash lit and the gauges are not working yet car is running "fine" it sounds like a electrical poor pin connection issue. Eventually car may not restart if worsens. Read Jaguar service technical bulletin xj413-02 Amended version 2/05 to see if symptoms match along with repair solutions.

Yes car stopped and would not proceed disconnected battery for 10 minutes reconnected car started and is running fine but am going to take it to a Jaguar mechanic for complete check over. The car had not been driven for nearly a year but has always been on a trickle chager
