I have a 2000 xj8 and my head and tail lights only work on automatic. What can i do to fix them.

Good question- I don't know- but if I owned an English car with electrical problems (what other kind is there?) I would have a spiritual seance with my crystal ball during the full moon- and chant: "Joseph Lucas, Prince of Darkness, have mercy on us mortals!" over and over until an answer appeared- you may think I'm kidding- but starting with my Hillman Minx and my Austin Healey 3000 i learned the hard way-
