IT WILL SLIP A BIT BEFORE ENGAGING, IF ITS NOT ENGAGING AT ALL THEN IT SOUNDS LIKE THE AUTO LOCK UP FUNCTION ISNT WORKING PROPERLY OR THE CLUTCH PACKS INSIDE THE T-CASE HAVE BURNT UP AND NOT GRIPPING EACH OTHER PROPERLY, ITLL HAVE TO GO TO A DRIVELINE SPECIALIST TO CONFIRM AND FIGURE OUT WATS NEEDED, A FULL REBUILD IS APPROX 1200-2000 GRAND DEPENDING ON WHO DOES IT.

Hi I have same problem, auto lock happens in t-case? I just want to confirm before I replace t-case that t-case is the problem and not front diff, I never heard any popping or anything so I'm assuming that the t-case is toast
