Why does my car get suck in and out of park?

My car gets stuck in park where i have to put force on it to come out and when i get it out i can not get it back in park to have the key released. Other wise it works fine what might it be. I don't think it is the transmition cause every other gear works just fine. Please help i really hope this is an easy solution.

Check if the negative battery cable to body is making good ground. If it is not connected or making good ground, the electrical system could be using the shift cable, which "freezes" it up. Second alternative would be the shift cable. I would take it to the transmission shop, they can check both out.
