blinker doesn't work, but makes the sound it usually makes, only faster

Asked by Lumina576 Jan 15, 2007 at 07:16 PM about the 1996 Chevrolet Lumina LS Sedan FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My blinker sometimes doesn't work (no lights either outside the car or on the dashboard light-up), but it makes the sound a blinker makes, however at a faster rate than when it's working normally.
What is wrong?

Hello Lumina576-- It sounds like you have a bulb burned out somewhere. Replace the troublesome bulbs before even thinking of moving on to more expensive options. I think this should work. Good luck from Bovan.
