On a 96 lumina 3.1 how do you check a coilpack to see if it is good?

It takes two people but, when it dies/won't start you can pull both wires off any single coil pack, crank the engine while you or your helper looks for spark between the towers. A better method is using an in-line spark check adapter (or test plug) but that's a quick and dirty check. --- The Grand Am's use the same engines and coils.
