Tps sencer

So so iv got a 1996 suburban blew original motor but replaced it with a couple
year new 5.7l vortec and I was wondering if it's at all possible to run it with out
the tps censor on the intake

It's not the engine I'd be worried about. The auto trans also uses it to make shift points. You need the tps, why wouldn't you want it?
