transmission swap

There are several thing to consder doing any tranny swap , tranny to engine , clutch disk configuration , clutch release linkage shift linkage , tranny mounts , drive lines , its alot of specs to read and cross reference ,maybe even go into machininv what will make it happen have not heard of that transmision i tried to look it up , top results i got were about Isuzu, Ive seen simular flat bed trucks of different sizes badged isuzu or gmc, short storie most tranny swapping i needed to do often i ended up getting a bit from advanced adapter , I dont know if there still around but why wouldnt they be , they have alot of specs like bolt patterns spline counts shaft lengths diamiters to compare with what you want to put it in. A chevy engine will still be used, I presume ?. It seems to me chevy engines go in anything people want . Why not put a tranny in one you want .research research research it takes time. Try telling , if you have one, a local four wheel drive club about your desire to have four wheel drive with what you want , they are to most often good people who like to build stuff and have fun, i did it and no matter how much i knew i was even taught more and that created more ideas.
