Cadillac CTS problems

Asked by Caddy1988 Feb 05, 2019 at 12:20 AM about the 2007 Cadillac CTS 2.8L RWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

07 Cadillac CTS 2.8
Have a weird noise coming from, well sounds
like from the rear, I only hear it for about a
min when I first drive my car, only has
happened the last couple days since it’s
been really cold outside. -30C.
Sounds similar to like your blower motor
squeaking but a little louder. Seems to be
coming from the area of my backseat.
Can anyone help or have any feedback?

Might be hearing the canister vent solenoid operating and letting venting fumes back to engine. . If your not getting any driveability issue or codes I would just leave it alone. Good Luck!

I have got a code like maybe 2 weeks ago which was a Emission code I do believe. I’ll get the code for you, I can’t remeber it at the moment.
