Crank, no start, no codes, no history

Asked by Greyfox65 Apr 30, 2021 at 06:24 PM about the 1996 Chevrolet Tahoe LT 4-Door RWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Ok, I have 58lbs of fuel pressure at the test port. No spark at plug. No fire out
of new coil. New module. New distributor. Fuses are good. No security
problem. No codes or history in OBD. Just trying to help my 88 year old
neighbor out. He was driving and it just stop and would not start. I have
followed several troubleshooting videos but still no start.

Battery has a full charge and battery connections all good? just a thought, did you check primary voltage to ignition coil? Pink wire, goes hot with key on and fuse protected. You can use test light to check for voltage.
